2014 Kia Soul | Review

kia soul

Kia used to be the underdog to me, but after testing out the Sorento and most recently the Soul I’m blown away.  The technology, feature and even the appearance has me hooked.  In about 9 months we’ll be purchasing or most likely leasing a vehicle that will be more user friendly for our family.

I want something that offers us the newest features in safety also which is why we choose to lease.  I really loved the Kia Soul 2014 in Kale Green.  The best part was when we went to Panera for soup and parked next to a Red Kia Soul that was the older model.  The owner of the car was just gushing over our new and improved features and style.  It was fun to see how much has changed between the two.

Kia's new soul

While I really only want an SUV for our next vehicle I wouldn’t mind having the Kia Soul thanks to the height.  My sedan I actually have to bend down to put the baby in, whereas in the Soul it was easy to just put her in and take her out.  Truck space was pretty limited, but it was really fun to drive around and it wasn’t too hard to maneuver size wise – I would think this is the perfect car for Sweet Baby as her first car!  Hopefully they’ll still be cruising along in 17 years!

our favorite features:

    • rear camera
    • navigation system – clear and beautiful display on an 8″ touch screen
    • leather seating
    • heated front and 2nd row seating
    • power lifegate
    • panoramic roof with power sunshade
    • fun changing speaker lights
    • heated steering wheel

Chris felt this car wasn’t for him at first glance, then he drove it.  After that whenever we went somewhere together he was the driver.  He was even honking at other Kia Soul cars.. Boys and their toys..
