For the last few years I’ve made conscious decisions about the products my family uses. I used to shop at wholesale stores, stock pile, and even couponed too! Tom’s of Maine Deodorant was my first step towards a better chemical free me. I love the refreshing lemongrass and fresh apricot scents. I stopped using harsh chemical filled deodorant and never looked back. Suffering from axillary hyperhidrosis made the switch a little difficult at first. I admit that I thought I’d be forced to go back, but in reality I think that my armpits were just reacting to all of toxic artificial crud they put in conventional anti-perspirant. Chris was a bit stubborn and stuck with his questionable sweat stick despite my pleading. Then this past Saturday I saw the opportunity with #CollectiveBias to check out Tom’s of Maine Long Lasting Deodorant or Men’s Deodorant. I initially planned on just getting one for hubby, but then I smelled Beautiful Earth – My sniffer was sold! I found it right in the Whole Body section of my local Whole Foods Market.
I even picked out the scent for hubby, deep forest! This scent is perfect for him. I really appreciate that it’s aluminum free. Some articles have stated that there could be a link between Aluminum Deodorant and Cancer! I’ll pass! Both the men and women’s look exactly the same – plus there’s no artificial colors either! Just pure ingredients and long-lasting deodorant!
