The Best Cheeseburger Recipe

I hate a cheeseburger that doesn’t have melty cheese. I mean, isn’t melty and gooey cheese the main reason you order a burger with cheese? I know some people like cheddar on their cheeseburger, but not me. My daughter refuses to eat any kids meal burger with cheddar and I don’t blame her. It has a completely different taste to me. I love cheddar with my macaroni (mac and cheese) or sliced apples, crackers and grapes.

My cheeseburger calls for good old American Cheese! Make every day delicious with Kraft! This is The Single Best Cheeseburger Recipe from Kraft and it’s the best cheeseburger recipe you’ll make all year! Why? It’s simple and delicious. You can add whatever toppings you like, but this is the toppings we love. Okay, so maybe a little bacon wouldn’t hurt – yum!

You can serve the best cheeseburger recipe with fries, or you could do tater tots, because they’re more fun. My daughter loves mini tater tots and would eat her weight in them in one sitting if I let her.

HELPFUL TIPS FOR BURGER NIGHT

  • Use Pickle Sandwich Slices – my family is the family that wants each bite of burger to have a pickle. When you use the burger slices you could end up using a ton and creating a sliding mess, instead use the sandwich slices and it will be less messy.
  • Prep Ahead: Slice your tomatoes, onions, lettuce and whatever other toppings ahead of time and put into a container in the fridge. You can even use the leftovers for a salad if there’s any left.
  • Let them assemble: 9/10 someone doesn’t want lettuce or doesn’t want mustard. I just put the Kraft American Singles on the burgers and then let them have it when it comes to the toppings.
