My mini chef LOVES making frozen treats, especially popsicles! Homemade popsicles is one of our favorite things to make in our Mini Chef Mondays kitchen. As soon as we run out of one popsicle, we’re on to the next popsicle recipe. We have quite a few tasty ice pop and popsicle recipes for kids and we have fun making new flavors too.

Kay’s top picks are our Strawberry Watermelon Popsicles, Strawberry Lemonade Ice Pops, and our Pineapple Lemonade Ice Pops.

They never last too long in our house and Kay is reaching for the popsicle mold as soon as it’s ready. She grabs her step stool and runs to the fridge, climbs up and grabs it right out of the freezer!

Our most recent recipe before this was Lemonade Ice Pops – we all love them!! It’s safe to say we have a thing for lemonade and sour over too sweet.

What we love about all of our popsicle recipes is how easy they are to make, especially for kids. Just put all the ingredients into a blender and then freeze to make ice pops, easy peasy, lemon squeezy. We use our Pro Line Series Blender that we were sent from KitchenAid – LOVING the power of this machine. It takes all hard tasks and makes them easy.

We love using our favorite popsicle mold. It really makes for the “real deal” look that kids want in an ice pop. You can totally play these off as store-bought.

Why we love this mold:

  • They look AMAZING! Just like ice pops in the stores
  • Great for thin or thick consistencies
  • Perfect for making healthy ice pops
  • You can see through it (yay for layers!)
  • BPA Free
  • Easy to Use
  • Easy to Clean (we use a bottle brush)
  • Easy to Remove Ice Pops

Our ABSOLUTE favorite for homemade ice pop recipes

Tips:

When using this mold we haven’t had any problems. To get the ice pops out, we simply run the top under hot water and then we run the ice pops (with the top still on) under hot water. Once the top is loose, we take the ice pops out and enjoy!
