Gluten Free Strawberry Banana French Toast

When my daughter was first diagnosed with her FPIES she couldn’t have much of anything and Udi’s was her first bread!  She could safely enjoy it since they are certified gluten-free and soy-free!  She finally outgrew her soy allergy, but we still love Udi’s!  Why?  We prefer to avoid gluten when we can and since it’s gluten free and no difference in taste to us we chose to stick with it.  It’s a lifestyle choice.  Plus I have noticed that when I consume gluten I end up looking like a puffer fish after.

Gluten Free Strawberry Banana French Toast

I love to stack them high and just drizzle the fruit and honey mixture over the entire stack.  It’s so delicious and you’re going to absolutely love it. I promise!  So super simple and definitely a family favorite breakfast recipe! We hope you enjoy this Gluten Free Strawberry Banana French Toast as much as a gluten filled french toast recipe!

Gluten Free Strawberry Banana French Toast

  • french toast
  • 5 Slices of Udi's Whole Grain Bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • butter
  • strawberry banana syrup
  • 5 strawberries (, sliced)
  • 1 banana (, sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons water
  1. Instructions
  2. In a skillet heat butter on medium heat
  3. Whisk together the eggs, whole milk, vanilla, cinnamon and sugar in a shallow bowl.
  4. Dip the bread into the egg mixture and place into a hot pan coated with butter.
  5. Cook toast on each side for 2-3 minutes or until crispy and browned.
  6. For Syrup.
  7. Place all ingredients into a small pan and cook until the fruit is tender and sauce is thickened.
