Not only was this my third fondant cake, but it was my first fruit filled cake.
I made this cake for my niece’s first birthday.
By request they wanted me to make something with
vanilla cream, strawberries, and bananas.
It was a little daunting to make fresh fruit filling in advance with fondant,
as you can’t refrigerate fondant.
So I basically had to cover the cake at the last minute.
Overall I was extremely happy with the outcome.
Like I always say, or at least I should say..
