Today I’m discussing the many benefits of buying in bulk. I am going to share our top favorite reasons why we buy in bulk with BJ’s Wholesale. It’s not simply just because we save a few bucks, of course, that’s nice, but it’s not the only reason.

- You don’t have to shop as often: I find myself going to the supermarket 2-3 times a week sometimes. We’ll run out of milk, eggs, butter, or even salad. When you buy in bulk, you have a lot more (and you’re saving!) so you don’t have to shop as often
- Saving dollars and cents: Yes, every dollar and penny counts when you’re saving on multiple items. If you calculate your savings, you can score quite a deal with BJ’s Wholesale
- Go with the family, even friends: Now I know they say you have to purchase your own household membership, but really you can make it a monthly date with you and your BFF and go to BJ’s to load up the fridge for the week. You can hang out, save, and shop at the same time.
- Organic without the panic: Why would I say without the panic? Well, have you ever gone to a natural food store without spending a ton on just one meal? I could easily spend $100 just purchasing something to make for dinner. Sure you’re getting a bulk amount, but it will last you a lot longer!
- Everything you need under one roof: From diapers to ice cream, from paper towel to a brand new TV! BJ’s has nearly all you would need and there’s really not a thing I can think of that they don’t have. You can even shop for clothing and jewelry.
- Customize your meat cuts: Did you know that BJ’s Wholesale will cut the meat however you want? They’ll even grind up your steaks if you want them that way. You do have to purchase it all, but you can have them purchase that HUGE thing into many smaller things. Easier to freeze!
- Less waste: You can minimize the containers and packaging you purchase. It may be a bigger box, but you won’t have a ton of boxes.
- No bags: We love that BJ’s makes you supply your own bags. They’ve helped eliminate the use of plastics for grocery bags in their stores with their hundreds of thousands of shoppers daily.
As someone who purchases a ton of organic, I’m happy to see that BJ’s Wholesale has a generous offering of organic products. They have their own brand of organic products too, so there’s even more savings. Just for purchasing organic alone is one of the MAJOR benefits for us. I buy the frozen bags of fruit, and my whole family enjoys it. We enjoy on it’s own or even turn it into nice cream.
