Baby’s First Christmas Event – Free Event for Baby at Babies “R” Us
Have you been to Babies”R”Us yet for their Baby’s First Christmas event? If not, what are you waiting for?? My family had so much fun creating onesies and memories! I told my sister in law about the event and we all met up at our local Babies”R”Us this past Saturday. It’s always fun to spend time with family and I was so excited to see my daughter and her cousins having fun! The event is completely free, plus they even have giveaways! While my daughter isn’t a newborn and it isn’t her first Christmas, they let her make her own onesie for her to keep. My 9month old nephew had a blast making his onesie and I just cannot wait to see it on him during the Christmas season.
The table was ready for all the babies and their parents to come and decorate an “Ugly Christmas Onesie”. I let Kay make it completely on her own and just help from me or daddy by holding down the stencil. She took a Pampers baby wipe to smash down the paint so it wouldn’t be huge globs and then washed her hands with another Pampers wipe. Luckily we made it out with no paint stained fingers or clothes!
We even met a mama who is from out of state visiting family, she couldn’t wait to make a onesie with her precious little girl!
Once we were done making our onesies we headed to check out all the giveaway items and recommended toys for Baby’s First Christmas.
My nephew just loved the FINDING NEMO Sea of Activities Jumper. Once we put him into that (with the permission of the staff!) he was all smiles. His big brother and Kay were jumping up and down and he was too – lots of giggles and smiles from all.
Towards the end of the event we headed to another area where they had samples and goodies for us to take.
We also got to take a photo of the three of them! It was so much fun and we really did enjoy. Right before we left they held the raffle and then we were able to take our dried onesies!
I had fun browsing the store and looking for gift ideas for all of my little nieces and nephews. It’s the season of giving and I just love to give!!
