Baby’s First Christmas – Contours Options 3-Wheeler Review

Posted by Courtney Lopez on

I have been baby wearing Mikaylee since she’s been born and I’m absolutely fine with continuing to do so until she wants to walk around on her own.  Hubby on the other hand really wants to stroll her around.  I do agree that she does need some stroll time since I only wear a carrier that can be with baby facing me not outward.

For my husband the Contours Options 3-Wheeler Stroller was a no-brainer.  My husband likes 3 wheels.  Not sure why, he just prefers it over others.  We also love black and red so double bonus.  The first time we used this stroller was in a crowded mall and thankfully it went really well!  Baby girl liked looking around and even fell asleep because she was so comfortable.

I immediately fell in love with all the storage on the bottom.  I was able to fit my HUGE diaper bag, a blanket for baby girl, and my baby carrier in case she started to get upset since it was our first time using a stroller, and we still had room for more!  I love that there’s room for my phone, drinks, and even keys if needed!  There’s also a separate cup holder for toddlers that is included!

The seat is reversible and allows you to face baby, or baby to face outward.  One thing I wish is that baby was closer.   You can also use this stroller with your infant car seat with the included car seat attachment.  Most infant car seats are compatible!   We really like the height-adjustable canopy that will grow with baby, and of course it’s really easy to fold.  I’ve tested out a few in the baby stores and some can be a hassle to fold!  The stroller is on the larger size, and did take up all of the trunk space in my mid-size sedan.

We weren’t used to having to use an elevator so that was a little bit of a set back for us baby wearing mamas.  Super easy to just stop onto an escalator.  On the other hand I was able to go to the restroom without baby girl in a carrier, so that is a plus!   When Mikaylee fell asleep I was able to recline the seat, which is something other strollers on the market weren’t able to do .

I appreciate that it has a 50lb weight limit, is JPMA Certified, has a one year manufacturer warranty, and only weighs in at 27.8lbs!  When searching for anything for my daughter I always go to consumer reports.  This stroller was their recommended choice so of course I recommend this stroller for those looking for something with lots of space, reliability, and comfort for baby, and of course it’s pretty stylish and gender neutral!
